An attempt to redeem the court system is the central theme of this dramatic movie. A man is wrongly accused of attempted murder. When a judge investigates the matter, he finds the evidence was clearly wrong and sets the man free. To try to make amends for what the man has suffered, the judge then adopts the man's son to try and help the boy have a better life.
