Kaafila is a Hindi action thriller film released in 2007. The film is directed by Ammtoje Mann and stars Sunny Deol, Sudesh Berry, and Sana in lead roles. The film is set in Pakistan and focuses on the issue of illegal immigration. Sunny Deol portrays a character named Sameer who runs a travel agency in Pakistan. However, Sameer's travel agency is just a front for smuggling people illegally into other countries.

One day, Sameer meets a young man named Shahnawaz who aspires to move to Dubai to work and support his family. Sameer takes advantage of Shahnawaz's situation and agrees to smuggle him across the border into Iran for a huge sum of money.

As they walk across the harsh terrain of the Iran-Pakistan border, Sameer and Shahnawaz encounter several other desperate immigrants who are also trying to cross over into Iran. They soon realize that the journey is not going to be easy and several dangers and obstacles lie ahead.

Meanwhile, a group of Pakistani police officers led by Inspector General Aftab Ahmed Khan, played by Sudesh Berry, are hot on Sameer's trail. Aftab is determined to catch Sameer and put a stop to his illegal immigration racket.

The movie follows Sameer and his group of illegal immigrants as they travel through different countries and face various challenges. They encounter corrupt border patrol agents, rival smugglers, and even face gunfire in a bid to cross the borders.

Sunny Deol delivers a brilliant performance as Sameer, the ruthless and cunning smuggler who seems to have a heart only for his own selfish interests. However, as the film progresses, we see glimpses of Sameer's humane side as he tries to protect the immigrants he has smuggled and even risks his own life to save them.

Sudesh Berry's performance as the no-nonsense police officer is also commendable. He is determined to catch Sameer and is not afraid to use force to achieve his goal.

One of the highlights of the movie is the cinematography. The film has been shot in various locations across Pakistan, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates. The scenic beauty of these countries is captured brilliantly and adds to the overall appeal of the movie.

Overall, Kaafila is a gripping thriller that sheds light on the issue of illegal immigration. The film raises some thought-provoking questions about the plight of immigrants and the exploitation they face at the hands of smugglers. The movie also sends a strong message about the need to address this issue and find a solution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of immigrants.
