Karam is a 2005 Indian thriller movie directed by Sanjay F Gupta and produced by Pammi Baweja. The movie stars John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Bharat Dabholkar in the lead roles. The film is a story of a man who takes revenge for his family's death. The movie revolves around John (John Abraham), who is a hitman working for a mafia boss, Malik (Bharat Dabholkar). John one day meets Shalini (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and falls in love with her. Shalini is a good-hearted girl who appreciates John's hard work and how he has managed to rise above his circumstances.

One day, John and Malik are hired to kill a businessman. However, things do not go as planned, and John's sister and nephew get killed in the crossfire. John is devastated and decides to quit his job as a hitman. Shalini supports John's decision and tries to convince him to surrender to the police.

John, on the other hand, decides to take revenge for his family's death. He kidnaps Malik's son and demands that he brings the person responsible for his family's death to him. Malik agrees to John's demands, but things take a turn when John meets the real culprit.

The movie has a lot of action-packed sequences, which are well choreographed. John Abraham delivers an impressive performance, and his portrayal of a hitman turned avenger is commendable. Priyanka Chopra Jonas shines in her role as the love interest, and her on-screen chemistry with John is palpable.
