The Karate Bear fighter was a movie that ended up being based on the life story of a Korean Fighter by the name of Choi Bae-dal. He later changed his name to Masutatsu Oyama. He also founded the Kyokushin Karate in Japan. This movie is a Japanese martial arts film that was made in 1975 and directed by Kazuhiko Yamaguchi. It is the second in a trilogy based on this guy and the manga Karate Baka Ichidai which stands for “A Karate-Crazy Life” in English. Sonny Chiba is the gentleman who portrays Masutatsu Oyama, which is interesting because he studied under him for a lot of years.
