Killer Barbys is a 2002 Spanish horror-comedy film directed by Jess Franco. The film stars Katja Bienert as Sylvia, a young musician who travels with her band to a remote town to perform at a nightclub. However, they soon find themselves in danger when they discover that the town is populated by a group of killer dolls known as the Killer Barbys.

The film begins with Sylvia and her bandmates traveling to the town of Valverde de la Sierra to perform at a nightclub owned by the villainous Ojos de Cristal (played by Aldo Sambrell). Along the way, they encounter a strange gypsy woman named Fata Morgana (played by Lina Romay) who warns them of the danger that awaits them in the town.

Despite Fata Morgana's warning, Sylvia and her band decide to perform at the nightclub anyway. However, things take a sinister turn when they discover that the club is frequented by a group of dolls known as the Killer Barbys. The dolls, who are controlled by a mad scientist named Dr. Moreau (played by Franco), have been killing the town's residents and feeding on their blood.

As the Killer Barbys begin to attack the band members, Sylvia and her friends must fight for their lives and try to uncover the truth behind the town's dark past. Along the way, they encounter a number of eccentric characters, including a strange caretaker named Ramon (played by Esteban Valdivieso) and a local artist named Carlos (played by Daniel Katz).

Killer Barbys is a campy and entertaining film that blends elements of horror and comedy. The film's cast delivers strong performances, particularly Bienert as the lead character, and the film's soundtrack features a number of catchy rock songs that add to the overall sense of fun.

However, the film is not without its flaws. The plot can be convoluted at times, and some of the special effects are a bit cheesy, particularly the scenes featuring the Killer Barbys themselves. Additionally, the film's pacing can be uneven, with some scenes dragging on a bit too long while others feel rushed.

Overall, Killer Barbys is a fun and entertaining film that will appeal to fans of horror-comedy. While it may not be a cinematic masterpiece, it delivers plenty of thrills, laughs, and rock and roll, making it a worthy addition to any cult movie collection.
