This movie is about a woman named Hiroko, who is about to get married. Before Hiroko can even get married, tragedy interrupts her life. While driving on her way to Mount Fuji, a woman collapses on the hood of her car. The woman's name is Kobayashi Fukuko, and she has tried a number of attempts to end her life. Right when Hiroko and Kobayshi become friends, another tragedy strikes again.
