This great documentary shows how South Carolina changed fishing history forever. In the 1930's the state constructed miles of dams and dikes from Charleston to Columbia, creating power for rural areas. But the striped bass, an ocean dwelling fish, became landlocked and could not go back to saltwater. Biologists realized the fish were living and reproducing, for the first time ever in freshwater.
