Last of the Living is a 2009 horror-comedy film directed by Logan McMillan and starring Morgan Williams, Robert Faith, and Ashleigh Southam. The movie tells the story of three slacker friends who find themselves as the only known survivors of a mysterious virus that has turned most of the human population into zombies. The film starts with a news report that informs viewers that a deadly virus has been sweeping across the globe, turning people into flesh-eating zombies. We then meet Morgan (played by Morgan Williams), an aimless slacker who has been living with his two best friends, Ash (Ashleigh Southam) and Johnny (Robert Faith). The trio spends most of their time lounging on the couch, eating junk food, and playing video games.

One day, they decide to venture out of their apartment to scavenge for food. However, they quickly discover that the city has become overrun with zombies. The group manages to fight their way through the undead hordes and stumbles upon a scientist who has been working on a cure for the virus.

The scientist tells the friends that he needs a rare flower to complete the cure and that they must travel outside the city to retrieve it. The trio reluctantly agrees to help and sets off on a road trip through the zombie-infested countryside.

Along the way, they encounter a variety of eccentric characters, including a group of survivors who have turned their supermarket into a fortress, a gun-toting granny, and a cult that worships the zombies.

The movie strikes a delicate balance between horror and humor, with plenty of gore and jump scares to satisfy horror fans while also delivering some laugh-out-loud moments. Morgan, Ash, and Johnny are perhaps not the most likable characters, but their bickering and banter help to keep the movie entertaining.

The film's low-budget origins are evident in the special effects, which can be a bit cheesy at times. However, the filmmakers make the most of their limited resources and manage to create some genuinely creepy and suspenseful scenes.

One area where the movie falls short is in its pacing. The first half of the film is slow-moving and meandering, with too much time spent on the friends' aimless banter. However, the pace picks up in the second half as the group encounters more dangerous situations and is forced to make some tough decisions.

Overall, Last of the Living is a fun and entertaining horror-comedy that will appeal to fans of the genre. It's not a groundbreaking film by any means, but it's a solid effort from a talented group of filmmakers.
