Like Grains of Sand is a 1996 drama about the realistic struggles of high schoolers in Japan. The movie unfolds when one of the teens has undoubtedly fallen in love with another unsuspecting male. The plot unravels to create an understanding of the boy's feelings by showing a concurrent development of a relationship between a boy and a girl.
