Little Man

Little Man is a comedy film that was released in 2006 which focuses on a short thief. The story talks about how a man who is very short and currently tries to steal one of the world's biggest diamonds. As he attains the diamond and is about to get arrested, he decides to place the diamond in a nearby woman's bag. The little man tries to get back the diamond by going back to that woman's house, only to find that she is in a relationship with a man and that they would love to receive a baby. The little man then decides to masquerade as a young child to try and get back the diamond inside of the woman's bag. It is here when the film takes off with good laughs and a great number of scenes with catastrophic moments.

The story is very well crafted. The film wasn't well received by critics of Rotten Tomatoes, and Little Man only received 18% by an amount of 86 reviewers. The film, however, was still given good reviews and has been given the thumbs up by several movie goers. The film isn't exactly as bad as the Wayans' brothers previous films like Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2, so it is a safe family that can be viewed and watched by children aside from the adults. Little Man is a good film, but it isn't exactly able to deliver excitement into the film compared to how well the good jokes are in the movie. There are thousands of people who have found that the film is a great family movie that can be viewed by people of all ages. There are definitely jokes that should not be heard by kids, but the overall film is great for the whole family.

The stars of the film are Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans. Marlon is the one who plays the Little Man. Nearly every scene where Marlon was in the film had to be filmed twice. The first time would be with a dwarf like 9 year old playing the ordinary scene, and then with Marlon in a green scene afterwards. This is how the entire film was made to ensure that Marlon's face was shown on the 9 year old's body. The wife of Shawn in the film is played by Kerry Washington who was told that she did an impressive job in the film. If you are on the fence about this comedy and whether to watch it or not, it is definitely worth viewing.
