Lovely Rivals is a Korean movie directed by Jang Gyu-seong and released in 2018. It tells the story of two high school teachers, Lee Soo-ho (played by Yum Jung-ah) and Cha Mi-ra (played by Lee Se-young), who have completely different teaching styles and personalities. While Lee Soo-ho is strict, traditional, and a bit grumpy, Cha Mi-ra is creative, modern, and bubbly.

Their paths cross when they both apply for the same position as a principal of a prestigious high school. The school's chairman, who happens to be Lee Soo-ho's father-in-law, decides to give both of them a chance and sets up a competition between them. The winner will become the principal, and the loser will have to resign.

The competition is not only about their teaching skills but also about their personal lives. Lee Soo-ho and Cha Mi-ra have completely opposite lifestyles, as well. Lee Soo-ho is married and has a teenage daughter who attends the same school where she teaches. She is obsessed with her daughter's education and tries to control every aspect of her life. Cha Mi-ra, on the other hand, is single and enjoys her freedom. She is also a bit of a fashionista and loves to dress up in colorful outfits.

As the competition heats up, Lee Soo-ho and Cha Mi-ra start to realize that they have more in common than they thought. They both care deeply about their students and want to make a positive impact on their lives. They also start to respect each other's teaching methods and learn from each other's strengths. However, their rivalry becomes complicated when they both develop feelings for the school's handsome music teacher, Kim Sang-woo (played by Lee Ji-hoon).

Lovely Rivals is a heartwarming and entertaining movie that shows how two very different people can learn to work together and appreciate each other's differences. Yum Jung-ah and Lee Se-young both give strong performances as Lee Soo-ho and Cha Mi-ra, respectively. They have great chemistry on screen and bring a lot of humor and depth to their characters. Lee Ji-hoon also shines as the charming and talented music teacher who becomes the object of their affection.

The movie has a lot of highlights, including some fun and creative classroom scenes, as well as some touching moments between the characters. It also has a great soundtrack, featuring a mix of Korean and English songs that fit the movie's upbeat and optimistic tone.

Overall, Lovely Rivals is a must-watch for anyone who loves a good romantic comedy or a movie about teachers who go above and beyond for their students. It's a delightful and uplifting movie that will leave you with a smile on your face.
