Malibu's Most Wanted is a hilarious comedy spoof film from 2003 which gives a satirical look at modern-day hip-hop culture through the eyes of the character, Brad Gluckman, played by Jamie Kennedy. The movie explores the story of a wealthy, privileged white kid who thinks he's black and wants to be a gangsta rapper, but ultimately realizes he doesn't belong to that community.

Brad's father, Bill, is running for Governor of California, and Brad keeps getting in the way and embarrassing his family with his misguided gangsta behavior. To counteract this, Brad's father, along with his campaign manager, Tom Gibbons (Ryan O'Neal) hires two actors, Sean (Taye Diggs) and PJ (Anthony Anderson) to pose as gang members and kidnap Brad. The plan is to scare him straight, in hopes that he'll give up his gangsta rap dream, and start acting like a responsible adult.

The film follows Brad's misadventures as he's kidnapped and taken to a 'hood' in Los Angeles where the real gangsters are. During his time there, Brad experiences first-hand the harsh realities of gang life; he's robbed, threatened, and even shot at. However, despite the danger, Brad remains determined to pursue his rap dream, and he tries to teach the gang members a thing or two about how to be cool.

Throughout the film, Brad's misguided behavior and antics keep the audience laughing. His eagerness to be a gangsta is shared by his two friends, B-Rad (Nick Swardson) and Monster (Marcello Thedford). They all have ridiculous gangsta alter-egos and spend their days driving around in a fake car with fake hydraulics and spreading their message of thug life.

Meanwhile, Brad's father and Tom Gibbons are desperately trying to control the situation and prevent Brad from causing any more damage to the campaign's credibility. They try to cover up Brad's antics, but his behavior becomes increasingly outrageous, and it becomes challenging to keep things under control.

As the film progresses, Brad begins to realize that being a gangsta rapper isn't all it's cracked up to be. He starts to understand the negative impact it has on the people around him as well as his personal life. He ultimately learns that there's more to life than being a gangsta rapper, and he decides to put his childish ways behind him, so he can make his dad proud and be taken seriously.

Overall, Malibu's Most Wanted is a lighthearted and entertaining satire comedy that pokes fun at hip-hop culture and its obsession with gangsta image. The film offers a uniquely humorous insight into the favorite topic for American teenagers and young adults: Rap and Hip Hop music. The cast of Jamie Kennedy, Ryan O'Neal, Blair Underwood, and the others deliver excellent performances, and the story offers a great balance of laughs and deeper messages.

Malibu's Most Wanted is a 2003 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 26 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.2 and a MetaScore of 43.
