This Spanish language film from Argentina directed by Fernando Ayala was originally entitled "Primero yo." It appeared at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie describes the life of a handsome, arrogant and somewhat self-centered playboy. He makes romantic overtures towards a free spirited woman. His interest in her distracts her from paying more attention to her painfully shy son. When the playboy and his love interest go for a fun romp together beside the ocean, however, their friendship soon gets tested. Themes of sexual passion verses social mores, societal stereotypes and modern sexism in Argentina all occur in the movie.
