Meatballs 4 is a 1992 comedy film that revolves around the story of a summer camp counselor, Ricky Wade (Corey Feldman), who falls in love with a wealthy heiress, Julie Richman (Sarah Douglas). Unlike the previous movies in the series that are set in a summer camp, Meatballs 4 takes place in a health resort, Sunny Peaks, where the rich and famous go to relax and rejuvenate.

The story begins with Ricky Wade, a struggling musician who lands a gig as a camp counselor at Sunny Peaks. Upon arriving at the resort, Ricky meets an eclectic group of counselors, each with their own unique personalities. There's the experienced counselor, Brent (Jack Nance), the attractive and flirtatious Claudia (Kristine Rose), and the over-the-top aerobics instructor, Mona (Debra Lamb), to name a few.

As the summer progresses, Ricky falls head over heels in love with Julie Richman, a wealthy heiress who has come to Sunny Peaks to escape the pressures of her family's business. Despite their class differences, Ricky and Julie become inseparable, much to the dismay of her snobbish mother and her fiancé, Chip.

In the meantime, the counselors at Sunny Peaks are tasked with keeping the guests entertained with their zany antics and choreographed dance routines. From a "Beauty and the Beast" contest to an all-out water balloon war, the counselors go above and beyond to ensure that the guests have a good time.

As the summer camp comes to an end, Ricky and Julie must face the reality of their different lifestyles. But with the help of his friends, Ricky realizes that true love knows no boundaries and he must follow his heart, no matter where it may lead him.

Meatballs 4 stands out from the previous three films in the series by eschewing the traditional summer camp setting in favor of a health resort. The change in location provides a fresh and unique setting for the film's hijinks and shenanigans. Additionally, the film's all-star cast, including Corey Feldman, Jack Nance, and Sarah Douglas, elevates the comedy to new heights.

One of the film's biggest strengths is its humor, which ranges from slapstick to witty one-liners. The counselors at Sunny Peaks are a hilarious bunch, each with their own distinct personality quirks that make for some great comedic moments. The film's pacing is also spot on, with plenty of action and jokes to keep the audience engaged throughout.

Another standout feature of the film is its soundtrack, which features a variety of upbeat, catchy tunes that perfectly capture the energy of summer camp. From the titular song "Meatballs" to the danceable 80s-inspired track "Love's Coming at Ya," the music adds an extra layer of fun to the film.

Overall, Meatballs 4 is a fun and lighthearted comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously. It's the perfect film to watch with friends on a lazy summer afternoon, with plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments to keep you entertained from start to finish.

Meatballs 4 is a 1992 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 24 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.4.
