This motion picture tells the tale of a brave woman who going completely against the grain of her village by attempting to put a stop to a terrifying practice. This is the story of a woman who resides in an African village. This village has been the subject of great controversy to the eyes of the outside world, due to a ritual they have been conducting for many years. For the longest time this village has been practicing the art of female genital mutilation, a very painful and degrading procedure that is done on young girls. When a brave woman decides to put an end to the horror, she is met with discontent and violence.
