My Girl and I is a heartwarming Korean romantic-comedy film that tells the story of a boy named Su-ho, played by Tae-Hyun Cha, who falls in love with a girl named Su-eun, played by Song Hye-Kyo. The movie is based on a Japanese novel called 'Crying Out Love, In The Center Of The World' by Kyoshiro Gōriki, but the story has been adapted to fit the Korean culture and society.

The movie begins with Su-ho, a high school student, who is facing a difficult time in his life. His father passed away recently, and he is struggling to come to terms with his loss. It is there that Su-ho meets Su-eun, who is his schoolmate. Su-eun is kind, caring, and a little bit quirky. She is always cheerful, and her smile can light up any room. Su-ho is attracted to her immediately, and he soon discovers that she is living alone with her father, who is terminally ill. The two of them spend their summer together, and as time passes, they begin to fall in love.

However, their happiness comes to an abrupt end when Su-eun's father passes away, and she has to move away to live with her relatives. Su-ho and Su-eun promise to stay in touch, but things begin to fall apart when Su-ho's mother tries to bring him back to the city, and Su-eun's relatives forbid her from contacting Su-ho.

Years pass, and Su-ho and Su-eun grow up to become adults. They both have successful careers, but neither of them has ever forgotten about each other. Su-ho finally decides to track down Su-eun, and what follows is a heartwarming and emotional reunion that will leave viewers in tears.
