Nature Tracks: The Monkey Game is a documentary which takes a look at illegal wildlife trade in Africa. As the title suggests, the documentary does place an emphasis on monkeys. However, it looks at every aspect of illegal poaching and trade within Africa. Smaller animals such as monkeys receive the same attention that larger animals such as elephants do. It also touches on the relation which native people have to illegal animal trading. Not only does it show how people in the area are both helped and harmed by animal trade, it provides it all within a greater historical context.
