Ogu and Mampato in Rapa Nui is the second Chilean animated film, directed by Alejandro Rojas. It features the story of a young boy by the name Mampato, who has a magic belt that acts as a time travel device. Together with his friend Ogu, they travel to an ancient land called Rapa Nui. In Rapa Nui they meet a young girl by the name Marama and without knowing it, the two find themselves right in the middle of the conflict in Rapa Nui where the Orejas Cortas - Maramas tribe - had been subjugated by the Ariki people.
