In this heartwrenching Finnish film, Pete and Jusa meet in the hospital, both on the brink of adulthood and both fatally ill. The two pair up to achieve their dying wishes. Jusa wants to see the golden sands of Mombasa, and Pete longs for Kata, a girl from high school. Kata is working in Lapland, so Pete and Jusa begin their trip to Mombasa via Lapland, hoping to see the Kenyan beach before time runs out.
