Only You is a 1992 romantic comedy film directed by Norman Jewison and starring Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., and Bonnie Hunt. The film follows the story of Faith Corvatch (Marisa Tomei), a young woman who becomes convinced that her true love, a man named Damon Bradley, is meant to be with her after a stranger tells her that she's destined to marry him.

The story begins with Faith, a teacher from Pittsburgh, who is about to marry a man named Dwayne (Tom McFadden) when a stranger named Damon Bradley calls out her name at the airport before leaving for Italy. The stranger mistakenly believes that he is speaking to an old friend of his who he was supposed to meet there. After the stranger leaves, Faith becomes obsessed with the idea of finding Damon Bradley, who she believes is her soulmate.

Following the stranger's advice, Faith quits her job and travels to Italy with her friend, Kate (Bonnie Hunt), to look for Damon Bradley. Along the way, they have a series of adventures, including falling for two charming men, a motorcycle ride through winding streets, and a pursuit that leads them to a hotel in Rome where they believe Damon Bradley is staying.

In Rome, Faith meets a man named Peter Wright (Robert Downey Jr.) who tells her that he is Damon Bradley. Despite the fact that he is not the Damon Bradley she was looking for, Faith is still drawn to him, and Peter is also charmed by her.

As Faith and Peter spend time together, they fall in love, but Faith is still fixated on finding the real Damon Bradley, fearing that if she doesn't, she will miss out on the one true love of her life. However, she soon learns that things are not always as they seem, and she must make a difficult decision about what she truly wants.

Only You is a timeless movie that deals with themes of fate, destiny, and true love. It offers a heartfelt and entertaining story that captivates the viewer from start to finish.
