Our Man in Marrakesh is a comedic spy thriller from 1966 that stars Tony Randall as the bumbling American spy, Andrew Jessel, who is sent to Morocco to retrieve a stolen microfilm that contains the names of every NATO agent stationed in the Middle East. Along the way, Jessel meets a seductive woman named Kyra Stanovy (Senta Berger), who he believes is working for the enemy, as well as a mysterious villain known only as 'The Caid' (Herbert Lom).

The movie opens with Jessel arriving in Marrakesh and being greeted by a local contact named Ahmed (Wilfrid Hyde-White). Ahmed introduces Jessel to Kyra, who immediately catches his eye. However, Jessel's mission is to retrieve the stolen microfilm, and he sets out to do just that by infiltrating the criminal underworld of Marrakesh.

Jessel's attempts to retrieve the microfilm are continuously thwarted by The Caid, who seems to be one step ahead of him at every turn. Meanwhile, Jessel finds himself falling in love with Kyra, despite his suspicions that she may be a spy.

As the plot unfolds, Jessel becomes embroiled in a series of comedic and action-packed misadventures, including a wild car chase through the narrow streets of Marrakesh, a thrilling rooftop pursuit, and several encounters with The Caid's henchmen.

Throughout the movie, Randall delivers a hilarious performance as the hapless spy who always seems to find himself in over his head. Berger is equally delightful as the femme fatale who may or may not be working for the enemy. Lom, best known for his portrayal of Inspector Clouseau's nemesis, Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus, in the Pink Panther movies, also gives a memorable performance as the villainous mastermind, The Caid.

In addition to the film's comedic and action-packed sequences, Our Man in Marrakesh is also noteworthy for its stunning cinematography, which showcases the vibrant colors and exotic settings of Morocco. The movie's soundtrack, composed by Malcolm Lockyer, is also a standout feature, combining traditional Moroccan music with jazzy spy movie themes.

Overall, Our Man in Marrakesh is a fun, entertaining movie that is sure to delight fans of classic spy thrillers and comedies. With its memorable characters, exciting plot twists, and charmingly dated style, it's a must-watch for anyone who loves movies from the swinging '60s.
