Out for Justice is a 1991 action film starring Steven Seagal as Brooklyn cop, Gino Felino. The movie, directed by John Flynn, also features William Forsythe as Richie Madano, Gino's childhood friend turned psychopathic killer, and Jerry Orbach as Captain Ronnie Donziger, Gino's commanding officer. The movie opens with a tragic scene in which young boy is killed by a stray bullet fired from Richie Madano's gun. Madano is a notorious criminal with a history of violence and drug use. Gino, who grew up with Richie, is devastated by the tragedy and is determined to catch the killer.

As Gino investigates the murder, he discovers that Richie has become increasingly violent and unstable, and that he is responsible for a slew of crimes around Brooklyn. Gino's investigation leads him on a violent and dangerous journey through the streets of Brooklyn as he tries to bring Richie to justice.

Throughout the film, Seagal's character exhibits a combination of toughness, courage, and a soft side, as he interacts with his family and friends. He is physically imposing, with his martial arts expertise shining in several scenes, and he also has a strong moral compass, which is what drives him to seek justice for the young boy's murder.

Forsythe's portrayal of Richie Madano is intense and strikingly believable. He is menacing and unpredictable, playing the role of a violent psychopath with total conviction. Despite their history together, there is no stopping Richie as he moves through Brooklyn with a violent agenda.

Jerry Orbach's Captain Ronnie Donziger is a calming presence in the movie, offering Gino advice and guidance as he undertakes his dangerous mission. Orbach's character is a time-tested veteran of the department who in one instance helps to prevent a dangerous chase before it starts.

The movie's pacing is consistent, building tension throughout the story and leading to a thrilling and action-packed climax that leaves the audience on the edge of their seats. The film's soundtrack is a perfect fit for the story, featuring high-energy rock music during the action scenes and slower, more emotional melodies when Gino is with his family.

One of the standout elements of Out for Justice is its attention to detail. The film is set in Brooklyn, and the neighborhood itself plays a key role in bringing the story to life. Much of the movie was filmed on location, and the filmmakers utilized the unique architecture and street layouts of the city to create a believable and engaging environment for the story to unfold.

Overall, Out for Justice is a tense and action-packed film that showcases Steven Seagal's talent as a martial arts expert and leading man. The movie successfully blends action, drama, and emotion to create a memorable and entertaining experience for viewers. If you're a fan of '90s action movies, Out for Justice is a must-watch.
