Over Her Dead Body

Henry is a loveable veterinarian who is in love with his fiancée Kate. Unfortunately, she dies in an accident on their wedding day. Henry's sister is very worried about him and believes he needs to get on with his life. She suggests that he use a medium in order to contact Kate so they may work out unresolved feelings and issues. In order to placate his sister, Henry agrees to do it. When nothing happens during the medium's session, Henry leaves. His sister gives Ashley, the medium, the diary that belonged to Kate. Ashley begins to deceive Henry in believing that she did in fact contact Kate's spirit. During their increased time together, Ashley and Henry begin to find themselves attracted to each other. Hilarity ensues when Kate's ghost really does show up - after not being able to get into Heaven - and she tries to stop Ashley and Henry's budding romance.

When Henry discovers that Ashley has been deceiving him, he breaks up with her. After Kate watches Henry fall into a deep depression over his breakup with Ashley, she has a change of heart and works to get Ashley and Henry back together. Kate enlists the help of another ghost, the same one who was responsible for her own demise. Ashley has since moved on with another man and is on her way to Las Vegas to get married. Kate finds out that she is able to communicate with Henry through his pet parrot and convinces him to go to the airport to stop Ashley from marrying Dan. Henry finds Ashley and tells her that he forgives her.

Henry and Ashley get married. Kate's ghost to go back to Purgatory and tries to get back into Heaven.
