Point Blank is French action thriller that sees an innocent man placed in a life threatening situation he must remove himself from if he is to save his pregnant wife and unborn child. Directed by Frederick Cadaye, this thriller brings a sense of mystery to the movie regarding the motives of those involved. At the outset of the movie, Samuel Pierret and his pregnant wife Nadia are happily attending a checkup for their unborn child. Arriving at work as a nursing assistant at a hospital, Samuel is assigned to the case of a suspected safe cracker who has been hit by a motorcycle escaping from underworld assassins. Treating the criminal, Hugo Sartet, brings Samuel into contact with police officer Patrick Werner, who claims to have been chasing Hugo for many years.

Returning home at the end of his shift Samuel's home is attacked and Nadia kidnapped, with the kidnappers telling Samuel he must help Hugo escape his police guard at the hospital if he hopes to see his wife again. Under pressure from the kidnappers to free Hugo, Samuel must form an escape plan and assist the injured man in getting to the bottom of a conspiracy to silence him.
