The film "Postcards from Leningrad" tells the story of the lives of guerillas in Latin America through the tale of a young girl living with her guerilla parents in the 1960s in Venezuela during the country's civil war. In the film, the girl, who serves as the narrator, and her cousin Teo deal with the harsh realities of guerilla life, such as the constant need to move from place to place and issues of violence within their guerilla faction. The girl and her cousin use a game to escape their dangerous reality. The film follows the main character from her birth on Mother's Day.
