Watch Psychedelic Pink

Psychedelic Pink is a Pink Panther animated short that was released in 1968. In the cartoon short, the Pink Panther goes to a bookstore. When he opens the door he sees an eye and gets memorized. The bookstore is owned by a short pointed nose hippie and the Pink Panther is faced with trouble. The Pink Panther manages to snap out of the hypnotism and escape the pointed nose hippie by outsmarting him. Towards the end of the cartoon the bookstore's door is opened and the audience is mesmerized like the Pink Panther was originally. When the cartoon was first released, it relates to the times of the late 1960s, but on a children's level. Psychedelic Pink is one cartoon that symbolized the hippie and psychedelic era of 1968.
