Pukar is a 1983 Bollywood movie directed by Ramesh Behl and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, and Randhir Kapoor. The movie tells the story of a wealthy businessman named Ravi (Randhir Kapoor), who is in love with his childhood friend Kavita (Zeenat Aman). However, Kavita is in love with a young musician named Raj (Amitabh Bachchan).

Raj is a talented musician and street performer who is famous for his unique style of singing. He is a carefree and happy-go-lucky person who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. When Kavita's father learns about her relationship with Raj, he disapproves and arranges her marriage to Ravi.

Kavita is torn between her love for Raj and her duty towards her family, and ultimately agrees to marry Ravi. However, on the day of the wedding, Raj shows up and creates chaos in the ceremony. Ravi gets angry and confronts Raj, and in the ensuing scuffle, Raj accidentally kills Ravi.

After Ravi's death, Raj becomes a wanted man and is on the run from the police. He goes into hiding and starts working as a gardener in the house of a wealthy businessman named Mr. Kapoor (played by Prem Chopra). Kapoor's daughter, Reema (Tina Munim), is a talented singer and Raj becomes her music teacher.

Meanwhile, Kavita is consumed with guilt over Ravi's death and becomes mentally unstable. She starts seeing visions of Ravi and believes that he is still alive. She becomes obsessed with finding Ravi and starts wandering around the city, looking for him.

As the story progresses, Raj's past catches up with him and he is forced to reveal his true identity. He is arrested and put on trial for Ravi's murder. Kavita is called to testify in court and her testimony plays a crucial role in the outcome of the trial.

Pukar is a gripping drama that explores themes of love, betrayal, and redemption. The performances by Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, and Randhir Kapoor are top-notch, and the music by R.D. Burman is excellent. The movie is notable for its thrilling action sequences, particularly the chase scene on the streets of Mumbai. Overall, Pukar is a must-watch for fans of classic Bollywood cinema.
