Punk the Vote is a scathing satire of Canada's electoral process. The documentary follows Roach and Starbuck, two punk rockers from Montreal who run for office as independent candidates. However, the interesting part of the story is that the duo choose to base their campaigns in one of Montreal's wealthiest communities. They soon start butting heads with the locals - and each other - with their outrageous campaign stunts.
While this film is definitely not kid-friendly, it's one of the most outrageous political documentaries ever made. Even those not familiar with Canadian politics will get a kick out of it.
