Quest for Fire is a movie that came out in the early 1980's. It is a movie that shows the life and times of the earliest days of mankind. In this movie viewers will get to see a group of tribes that is trying to preserve fire which is the most sought after resource. One tribal group looks to preserve the fire as well as learn how to make it. Therefore they look to get guidance from a more advanced tribe. This movie is one of the more intriguing movies ever made as it explores a very well known time in history. People who enjoy watching historical films and one's about certain time periods will find this to be a very solid movie to watch.

During the very beginning of the human race a tribe has discovered fire. With fire they are able to stay warm and also have light. As a result this becomes the most valuable and sought after resource among everyone. Due to them having this valuable resource they are attacked by another rival tribe and manage to escape. Now that the fire is out, they are desperate to learn how to make fire and preserve their existence. Along the way they come across deadly animals and also other rival tribe members. Eventually they come across a couple of women who are being attacked by the rivals and a few of the tribe members rescue them. They then pursue the women and find out that they are members of the most advanced tribe in the area. The three males make their way to the tribe's living area. At first they are mocked and looked down upon . However three males eventually become accepted by the other tribe and the women teach them how to make fire. As a result everyone becomes better off. The tribe is then able to preserve its existence.
