Rachida is an Algerian film. The film tells the story of the titular character, who is a teacher is a popular area of the Algiers. She, like most of the people she lives around, assume that the political conflicts in the country have very little, if anything, to do with her. She is approached by a terrorist group one day, and the group includes one of her former students. When she refuses to follow the orders of the group, she is shot, but survives and goes to a smaller village to live.
