In the post-apocalyptic world of 1996, two young men named Phillip Chandler (played by John Stockwell) and Marlowe (played by Michael Dudikoff) are living in an underground shelter after a nuclear war has decimated the world's population. Phillip and Marlowe, who were children at the time of the war, have grown up in complete isolation and have only each other for company.

Phillip, who is a writer, dreams of adventure and excitement in the world outside, while Marlowe, who is more practical, is content to stay hidden away in their shelter. However, when they are forced to leave their shelter in search of a missing girl, they are thrust into a dangerous and unpredictable world that they are ill-prepared for.

As they journey through the ruins of Los Angeles, they encounter a series of bizarre characters and situations, including a gang of armed, roller-skating women, a mad scientist named Miles Archer, and a group of survivors who have found a way to create electricity by harnessing the power of a mysterious substance known as "Einstein's God Particle."

Along the way, Phillip and Marlowe discover that they possess some unusual abilities that may be the key to unlocking the mysteries of this strange new world. They also begin to develop romantic feelings for the missing girl, a singer named Miles who they have been sent to find.

Filled with neon-lit visuals, over-the-top action sequences, and a synth-heavy soundtrack, Radioactive Dreams is a wild and wacky ride that defies easy classification. At once a post-apocalyptic adventure, a sci-fi thriller, a romance, and a comedy, the film is a unique and unforgettable blend of genres and tones.

Despite its low budget and often cheesy effects, Radioactive Dreams has developed a cult following over the years for its irreverent humor, off-kilter characters, and imaginative vision of a world gone mad. While it may not be for everyone, those who are willing to go along for the ride are sure to find themselves entertained and enthralled by this bizarre and unforgettable film.
