Watch Rainy Dog

Rainy Dog is a 1997 Japanese action movie about the psychological relationships between three characters: Yuji, his mute son Ah Chen and Lily, a prostitute. Ah Chen is dumped in Yuji's apartment by his alleged mother, who claims that Yuji is the boy's father. Before Yuji can do or say anything, she's gone. Yuji takes Ah Chen under his wing as his helper in a series of barbaric deeds he performs for his "boss". Ah Chen's speech impediment is of no obstacle. Lily, the prostitute, is in tow, as a partner in crime of Yuji's lecherous deeds. Ah Chen's only source of communication is with a stray dog, who allegedly understands why Yuji does the nasty things he does, as well as Lily's many sexual escapades. The dog is the means through which most of the movie is filtered.
