"Richard the Second" is an American adaptation of the play by William Shakespeare. The setting and costumes are designed to make the viewer think of a modern-day banana republic. The movie is set at an abandoned fort near Boston and the characters are dressed in military fatigues. The plot concerns an exiled nobleman who returns home to take revenge on the king that seized all of his property.
