Shikari is a 2000 Bollywood movie that stars Govinda, Tabu, and Karisma Kapoor. This action-packed film revolves around the life of a hunter named Natwar who later turns into a contract killer. The movie is directed by N. Chandra and produced by Narendra Bajaj. The story is set in the city of Mumbai, where Natwar (Govinda) is a hunter by profession. He has a faithful dog, Hawaldar, who accompanies him in his hunting expeditions. Natwar is a carefree person who does not worry about the future and takes life as it comes.

Natwar gets acquainted with wealthy heiress Sonia (Karisma Kapoor) and they fall in love. However, Sonia's father, who is a millionaire, opposes their love and arranges Sonia's wedding with Shiva (Mukesh Rishi), who is a hardcore criminal.

Natwar is heartbroken and decides to leave Mumbai. He moves to another city and takes up a job as a contract killer. The movie shifts its focus to Natwar's profession as a hitman, where he performs various killings for his client, Rajeshwar (Shakti Kapoor).

The second half of the film focuses on how Natwar gets embroiled in a conspiracy involving Mukesh Tiwari (Kapoor), a corrupt minister, and the police department. Tabu plays the role of Ghayal, a social worker and a close friend of Natwar, who helps him in his fight against the corrupt system.

The movie features some thrilling action sequences, particularly the ones where Natwar hunts down his targets. The romance aspect of the film is also handled well, with some great chemistry between Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. Tabu, on the other hand, is convincing as Ghayal who is dedicated to her cause.

The film's soundtrack is composed by Aadesh Shrivastava and includes songs like "Ek Munda Meri Umar Ka" and "Phoolmaati". The background score is also impressive, particularly during the action scenes.

There are some minor flaws in the movie, particularly with regards to the sudden shift in Natwar's character from a carefree hunter to a cold-blooded killer. However, Govinda's charismatic performance as Natwar helps to overlook these flaws.

Overall, Shikari is an entertaining movie with some great performances, particularly from Govinda and Tabu. The action scenes are well-crafted and the romance aspect is handled well. It's a must-watch for fans of Bollywood action movies.
