Singapore is a 1960 Hindi film, directed by Shakti Samanta, starring Shammi Kapoor, Padmini and Maria Menado in lead roles. The plot of the movie revolves around a rich business tycoon named Prem Kumar (Shammi Kapoor), who is involved in illegal activities. His business rival hires a detective, Rajan (Shammi Kapoor again), to expose his illegal ventures. Meanwhile, Prem falls in love with a dancer named Mala (Padmini). Mala's sister Julie (Maria Menado) is also in love with Rajan.

The first half of the movie is filled with fun and frolic, with Shammi Kapoor at his charming best. The song "Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu" featuring Padmini, is a classic and still remembered today. The chemistry between Shammi Kapoor and Padmini is one of the highlights of the movie.
