South Beach Academy is a raunchy comedy film that revolves around a group of college students who are spending their summer break in a beautiful Miami resort. The movie is directed by Joe Esposito and the screenplay is written by Liz Scolforo, Jason Williams, and Reid Harrison. The story kicks off as nerdy Bobby (Keith Coulouris) and his best friend Max (Richard Hillman) embark on a journey to Miami to learn the secrets of seducing women. However, they quickly realize that it's not as easy as they thought it would be. Upon arriving in South Beach, they meet the headmaster of South Beach Academy, who offers them a deal: they can stay at his resort for free if they help him boost the ratings of his academy.

The boys enthusiastically accept the offer and start recruiting their friends to attend the academy. Once they arrive, they are surprised to find out that the academy is nothing like they expected it to be. It's an all-girls school that is run by a strict Principal (Elizabeth Kaitan) with a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to boys. The school is struggling financially and the principal is looking for ways to keep it afloat.

The boys capitalize on the principal's desperation and offer to help her out in exchange for access to the girls. The principal reluctantly agrees and the boys get to work trying to seduce every girl in the academy. To their surprise, the girls turn out to be much more challenging to woo than they expected. They are smart, independent, and not easily impressed by the usual frat boy antics.

In the meantime, the academy is facing another challenge. A rival academy, led by the obnoxious Jordan (Corey Feldman), is trying to steal their students and take over their school. Jordan challenges South Beach Academy to a dance-off where the winning school gets to keep all of the students. The principal accepts the challenge, but she knows that she can't win without the boys' help.

The boys take it upon themselves to train the girls for the dance-off, morphing them into sexy, dance-ready temptresses. However, things take a turn for the worse when the boys start falling for the girls they are training. This leads to a series of comical mishaps as they try to win the girls' hearts while also trying to win the dance-off.

The movie is filled with hilarious one-liners, cringy sexual innuendos, and over-the-top antics that will make you burst out laughing. The performances by the cast are all spot-on, with Corey Feldman delivering a standout performance as the sleazy Jordan. The chemistry between the main actors is palpable and adds to the overall lightheartedness of the movie.

Overall, South Beach Academy is a fun and entertaining movie that is perfect for a Friday night in with friends. It's a nostalgic reminder of the 90s, complete with cheesy outfits, catchy dance tunes, and a plot that is so ridiculous, it's good. The movie may not be a cinematic masterpiece, but it's definitely worth a watch if you're in the mood for something light-hearted and fun.

South Beach Academy is a 1996 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 31 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.6.
