Special Delivery is a 2000 comedy film that follows the story of Tom, his wife Kate and their friends Bill and Sarah. The movie is directed by Mark Jean and stars Andy Dick, David James Lewis, and Megan Leitch in the lead roles. Tom (David James Lewis) is a mailman who loves his job and takes pride in the fact that he has not missed a single day of work in over a decade. His dedicated work ethic, however, is challenged when he finds a mysterious package in his mail truck. The package is addressed to a woman who lives on his mail route, and it’s marked as extremely urgent.

Tom’s curiosity leads him to investigate the package, and he soon finds out that it contains a large sum of cash. Tom initially wants to turn the package in to his supervisor, but his greed gets the best of him and he decides to keep the money for himself. Things take a turn for the worse when the intended recipient of the package turns out to be involved in a dangerous criminal enterprise, and Tom and his friends find themselves being hunted down by ruthless thugs who will stop at nothing to get their hands on the money.

What follows is a hilarious and thrilling adventure as Tom and his friends try to stay one step ahead of the criminals, all while trying to keep their hands on the money. Along the way, they encounter a range of eccentric characters, including a band of misfit bikers, a group of clueless cops, and a sultry femme fatale.

Andy Dick plays the role of Bill, Tom’s best friend who is also a fellow mailman. Bill is a bit of a slacker who is constantly getting into trouble, and his wisecracks provide much of the movie’s comedic relief. Megan Leitch plays Sarah, Bill’s girlfriend and Kate’s best friend. Sarah is a tough and independent woman who is not afraid to speak her mind and is always ready for a fight.

The chemistry between the actors is evident throughout the film, and their comedic timing is impeccable. The dialogue is witty and engaging, with the characters engaging in banter that is both hilarious and charming. The pacing is quick, with the action never letting up, making for an engaging watch from start to finish.

The film also makes use of some stunning visuals, with shots of the Pacific Northwest’s scenic beauty providing a stunning backdrop for the action. Additionally, the humor is not limited to just witty banter, with the film making use of slapstick comedy to great effect, with everything from car chases to shootouts providing plenty of laughs.

Overall, Special Delivery is a delightful comedy that is sure to entertain. The film’s hilarious premise and well-executed action make for an engaging watch that will leave audiences glued to their seats. If you are a fan of comedy films with thrilling action sequences, Special Delivery is definitely one to watch.
