Spider's Web is a drama film that was released in 1989. Lt. Theodor Lohse is a man who is set on gaining power after the destruction of Germany following World War 1, and is able to use sexual favors to come to high government position. He is able to then use his office to exact revenge on those who have crossed him, and quickly amasses fortune. The only problem is that his newest political opponent is a Jewish informant who quickly pulls him into a plot involving blackmail. Spider’s Web was directed by Bernhard Wicki, and features a performance by Wolfgang Kirchner.
