Steele Justice is an action-packed movie released in 1987, directed by Robert Boris and starring Martin Kove, Sela Ward, and Ronny Cox. The film follows John Steele (Martin Kove), a Vietnam War veteran and former LAPD officer who decides to take matters into his own hands when his best friend is murdered by a group of cocaine dealers.

The movie begins with John Steele living a peaceful life in a small town, where he spends most of his time fishing and spending time with his wife Tracy (Sela Ward). However, his life takes a drastic turn when he receives a phone call informing him of the killing of his best friend, Buddy (Joseph Campanella). Buddy, who was a retired police officer, had been investigating a drug trafficking ring run by a vicious drug dealer named Raul (Sylvester Stallone's brother, Frank).

When Steele arrives in Los Angeles for Buddy's funeral, he is informed that Raul has strong political connections and that the police force is afraid to go after him. Unable to sit back and watch as Raul continues to terrorize the city, Steele decides to take the law into his own hands and begins a one-man mission to bring Raul and his gang to justice.

As the movie progresses, Steele finds himself up against a formidable opponent in Raul and his team of ruthless thugs. But despite the odds against him, Steele remains determined to see justice served and sets out on a bloody mission to take down the drug lord and his empire.

Along the way, Steele is aided by his former partner on the police force, Tony (Ronny Cox), who has also been investigating Raul's drug ring. Together, they uncover evidence linking Raul to various illegal activities, including drug trafficking and arms dealing. The two men work together to gather evidence and build a case against Raul, all while avoiding the wrath of his dangerous cronies.

The action in the movie is intense and fast-paced, with plenty of shootouts and hand-to-hand combat scenes. Martin Kove's portrayal of John Steele is convincing, as he transforms from a peaceful, laid-back fisherman to a vengeful, unstoppable force, determined to take down the drug lord who killed his friend.

Sela Ward also gives an excellent performance as Tracy, Steele's supportive wife who stays by his side throughout his dangerous mission. Ronny Cox is equally impressive as Tony, Steele's former partner who provides vital assistance in his quest for justice.

Overall, Steele Justice is an entertaining and action-packed film that delivers plenty of thrills and excitement. The movie's themes of justice and revenge resonate strongly, and the stellar performances from the cast make it a movie that is well worth watching. If you're a fan of gritty action movies from the 1980s, then Steele Justice is definitely one to add to your watch list.
