Stonerville is a 2011 movie that revolves around the character of Troy. Troy is a successful guy who lives in LA and works on a TV show as a writer. One day, his childhood friend, Pete, contacts him to get his help in saving their hometown bar from their high school enemy, Big Chuck. Troy reluctantly agrees to help because he owes Pete a favor. He returns to his hometown, Stonerville, and reunites with his old friends whom he hasn't seen in years. Pete has a plan to save the bar – he wants to organize a beer drinking contest, where the winner gets a cash prize of $10,000. Troy comes up with the idea of making a reality show out of the contest and naming it "The Ultimate Beer Chug."

They go ahead with their plan, but things quickly start to go wrong. Big Chuck, who's now a wealthy businessman, finds out about the contest and is determined to sabotage it. He hires a group of hot girls to join the contest and distract the other contestants. Troy's TV show also sends a crew to cover the event, which causes more chaos.

While all this is happening, Troy begins to reconnect with his old flame, Michelle, who's now engaged to another guy. He also starts to question if he really wants to go back to his old life in LA, or if he should stay in Stonerville and help his friends.

Stonerville is a fun, light-hearted comedy that's perfect for a night in with friends. The movie doesn't take itself too seriously and is filled with hilarious one-liners and memorable characters. The cast delivers strong performances, especially Patrick Cavanaugh, who plays Troy. He brings a great energy to the film and is able to balance the comedic and emotional elements of his character.

Alex Mauriello is also great as Michelle. She's able to play the quirky, girl-next-door type while also having chemistry with Cavanaugh. Brian Guest and Cameron Goodman, who play Pete and Big Chuck, respectively, provide great supporting roles as well.

The movie's storyline is predictable, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Stonerville is a movie that's meant to be enjoyed, not analyzed. It's a feel-good comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously and is perfect for a night of laughter with friends.

The film's pacing is brisk, and the runtime is just under 90 minutes, which makes it an easy watch. The humor is broad, but it works within the context of the story. There are no big twists or surprises, but that's not what the movie is going for. The film is all about the journey, and the characters that we meet along the way.

Overall, Stonerville is an enjoyable movie that's worth a watch. It's not going to change your life, but it will certainly put a smile on your face. The movie is a great example of a fun, light-hearted comedy that doesn't try to be anything it's not. If you're looking for a movie to watch with friends on a lazy evening, Stonerville is a strong pick.

Stonerville is a 2011 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 28 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 2.8.
