Superbad

Superbad is a comedy adult oriented film that talks a whole lot about ordinary teenagers trying to develop their poor social standing in school. The film stars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera who plays the main films stars. They play as two teenagers who lament their virginity while trying to change up their poor social standing. They both attend the same high school and are about to head off to different colleges, but they end up going to the same college in the end because one of the them got rejected from Dartmouth.

Superbad is a film that goes very deep into a wide range of different adult like situations. Since the two stars actually try to lose their virginity, they decide to make a change in their college years and actually do something to make a difference in their life. This is definitely one of the most funniest films since it really goes deep into what guys who are mainly nerds actually have to go through in life, whether it'd be not being able to hang out with the cool college kids or never having sex. Jonah Hill definitely plays his character very well in the movie.

The film showcases the two friends in different and weird situations regarding their sex life and how they actually deal with friends. The film continues on with them getting a few police officers to join in on their act to help boost up their social status and become cooler people. This alone makes their acting and story believable and worth watching. The characters are played very well with just the right amount of acting being put in. The actresses who play their girlfriends and love interests in the film play their roles very well in the movie. This alone makes the film great to listen to.

Superbad is a film that was rated as one of the best movies of 2007 by several critics. The film, however, still received critical acclaim since the story is very adult-like and not so much for the family to watch. Having received exactly 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie is quite well received by movie goers and top notch movie reviewers in the movie industry. Superbad isn't a film that teaches any deep life lessons, but it still goes in-depth on what it is like to be an outcast throughout high school and also in college.
