The 1982 film "Tempest" was a modern take on Shakespeare's famous play "The Tempest." In this updated version, main character Phillip Dimitrius is played by John Cassavetes. After a nasty breakup with his wife, he takes himself and his possessions to a place called Greek Island. New lovers show up and fireworks fly. The island is populated by interesting characters and love twists aplenty. Phillip's new love interest arrives on the island with her new lover in tow, making for a sticky situation as characters work to reach the best conclusion possible for the always-dreaded mid-life crisis that greets many men.
