Ten Inch Hero is an independent film that doubles as a romantic comedy. The movie was directed by David Mackay and gets its name from a submarine sandwich. The plot of the movie involves the main characters who work at a sandwich shop in Santa Cruz, the protagonist of which is Piper, who is played by Elisabeth Harnois. Later on, Piper sees an eight-year old child named Julia, played by Adair Tishler walking with her father named Noah, played by Sean Patrick Flanery. Piper goes over to introduce herself to them, but as it turns out Piper herself is the actual mother of Julia but was forced to give her up for adoption eight years earlier, and had no choice but to move to another location once he was denied contact with her daughter. Piper doesn't introduce herself with her real name, out of fear, but nevertheless she, Noah and Julia immediately begin bonding with each other throughout the course of the movie.
