Terminal Rush is a 1996 action film directed by Damian Lee and starring Don Wilson, Michael Anderson Jr., and Roddy Piper. The movie follows the story of a former FBI agent, John Doherty, who is now working as a security consultant. John is hired by a group of activists who are attempting to stop a corrupt businessman from developing an airport in a rural area.

The film opens with a high-speed car chase as John Doherty (Don Wilson) and his partner attempt to apprehend a ruthless criminal. The chase ends with the criminal fleeing in a helicopter, and Doherty's partner getting killed in the process. This traumatic event causes John to quit his job at the FBI and move to a small town where he starts working as a security consultant.

Things take a turn when a group of environmental activists contact John and ask for his help in stopping the construction of an airport in their town. The airport is being built by a corrupt businessman named Wilson Fitch (Roddy Piper), who is using illegal means to acquire the land. The activists believe that the airport will destroy the natural beauty of their town and disrupt the lives of the local residents.

John agrees to help the activists, and he soon finds himself caught in the middle of a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Fitch and his henchmen will stop at nothing to protect their interests and ensure that the airport is built. John is forced to use all of his training and expertise to outsmart Fitch and his men and save the town.

One of the film's highlights is the action sequences, which are expertly choreographed and executed. Don Wilson is an accomplished martial artist and his fight scenes are a treat to watch. The film also features several high-speed car chases and explosive shootouts that keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

The characters in Terminal Rush are well-written and fleshed out. John Doherty is a relatable and sympathetic protagonist who is haunted by the loss of his partner. His interactions with the activists are realistic, and the film explores the moral dilemma he faces as he tries to balance his duty to the law with his desire to help the people of the town.

Roddy Piper's performance as Wilson Fitch is a standout. Piper, best known for his professional wrestling career, brings a menacing presence to the character. Fitch is a ruthless businessman who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, and Piper conveys this with a subtle yet effective performance.

Overall, Terminal Rush is a solid action film with strong performances, engaging characters, and thrilling set-pieces. The film's themes of corruption and environmentalism make it feel relevant even today. If you're a fan of action movies from the '90s, Terminal Rush is definitely worth checking out.
