See a Poster for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Unlikely Batman Sequel, Nightwing

If you haven't seen "The Dark Knight Rises" yet, there are spoilers ahead. Then again, if you haven't seen it yet, you probably don't care much.

When "The Dark Knight Rises" hit theaters, we saw the rather open ending and asked if the movie had just set itself up for its own reboot. Nightwing fans everywhere are still hoping the answer is yes, but it would probably take a small miracle for Legendary and WB to foot the bill for a movie that stars Robin, even if they don't call him Robin.

You see, it turns out that Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character in "The Dark Knight Rises" was named Robin all along, but we didn't know it. He was also one of few people who figured out Batman's secret identity, and was bestowed the Batcave once Bruce Wayne did his little disappearing act.

But just in case you don't think that Joseph Gordon-Levitt can be the superhero type, here's a little fan poster that might change your mind. The rather nicely Photoshopped poster features JGL looking spiffy in a modified version of the Batman suit, made up to look like the Nightwing suit. Only, you know, with less spandex and more helpful stuff like body armor.

Even the poster admits that this Nightwing movie is "Probably Not Coming Soon." Still, check out the poster below and tell us what you think: could JGL pull it off?
