'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Casting: Find Out Which 3 Actors Might Play Finnick

One of the big question marks over the sequel to "The Hunger Games," which will be saga-titled "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," is who will play the role of Finnick Odair.

Rumors can't always be trusted: just ask Robert Pattinson, who woke up last week to read that he was cast in the role of Finnick, only to call his agent and learn the truth (and presumably be a bit disappointed).

Nonetheless, here's the big rumor right now: the role of Finnick is down to just three actors. The lucky lads are Taylor Kitsch, Armie Hammer and Garrett Hedlund.

Are these three young actors the right choice? Finnick is described as being almost impossibly handsome, a fact that helped him win in his time in the Arena. Kitsch has been a heartthrob on a small scale ever since his time on "Friday Night Lights," but definitely has a more rugged look than Hedlund or Hammer, the latter of whom recently played Prince Charming in "Mirror Mirror."

In terms of action flick experience, Hammer has some ground to make up against Hedlund, who starred in "Tron: Legacy," and Kitsch, who recently starred in "John Carter." I guess it all comes down to who you think would look good with a trident.

In all this, though, there's the chance that an unknown is cast in the role, an option that has apparently been on the table the whole time. While not total unknowns, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson weren't exactly household names before "The Hunger Games," so clearly the franchise can do well enough without a big star attached. Then again, this is sequel territory, and you always go bigger in the sequel.

What do you think? Should "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" go with Hammer, Hedlund, or Kitsch, or should someone else take on the role of Finnick?
