The story of a young girl stuck in the middle of a family battle is the central theme of this dramatic film. Young Laura is only wanting to find her true self throughout the rough environment she finds herself in. Her father is a deadbeat who doesn't pay child support and her mother is evil and attempts to turn her against her own father for crimes he didn't commit. Not only is she contemplating whether or not to run away from home, but she feels that her own parents will destroy themselves if she remains a pawn in their chess game.
