The Bullfighters is a classic comedy film from 1945 featuring the iconic comedic duo of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The film revolves around the duo as they journey to Mexico for a well-deserved vacation. However, their plans to have a relaxing time are quickly disrupted when they get caught up in a dangerous bullfighting scheme. The film begins with a humorous scene where Laurel and Hardy are seen relaxing in their hotel room in Mexico, drinking tequila and enjoying some downtime. However, their peace is quickly interrupted when they receive a telegram from their home town in the United States, informing them that they have inherited a sizeable sum of money. The catch is that they can only claim the money if they sign a document in person at their hometown bank.

Desperate to claim their inheritance, the duo sets out on a journey, but soon find themselves lost and stranded on a deserted road. Here, they meet Margo Woode, who plays the role of a beautiful young woman, who offers to help them get to their destination. Unbeknownst to Laurel and Hardy, Margo is part of a team of crooks who are planning a heist involving the famous local bullfighter, Don Sebastian.

As they arrive at their destination, Laurel and Hardy unknowingly become part of the heist as they find themselves entangled in the bullfighting world. Don Sebastian's prize bull, El Toro, is set to fight in the local bullfighting arena and the crooks are looking to steal the prize money from the event. Laurel, Hardy, and Margo soon become embroiled in the dangerous world of bullfighting, with hilarious results.

Throughout the movie, Laurel and Hardy offer their signature brand of physical comedy, quips, and slapstick humor. Their antics, including accidentally stumbling into the bullfighting arena, blending in with the crowds, and even accidentally fighting a cow instead of a bull, draw out laughs from the audience. Their attention-grabbing costumes also add to the comedic atmosphere.

Margo Woode offers a strong performance as the lead female character, who is integral to the movie's heist plot. Her performance is both charming and daring, as she manages to deceive the duo and stay one step ahead of the crooks. Woode also adds a touch of glamour to the movie, with her stunning outfits, and a few dance sequences.

Overall, The Bullfighters is a hilarious movie that encapsulates the comedic brilliance of Laurel and Hardy. The movie is shot in beautiful Mexican locations and offers audiences a taste of the local culture and traditions. The movie ends with a hilarious and fitting tribute to the iconic duo, showcasing their talent and comedy genius. It is a great movie for anyone looking for light-hearted comedy and wholesome entertainment.
