In his book All I Need to Know about Filmmaking I Learned from the Toxic Avenger, Troma president Lloyd Kaufman lists this film as one of the five worst Troma films ever made (along with Croaked: Frog Monster from Hell, also directed by Bill Rebane).
Jeana Tomasino, Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in November 1980, is credited as a Dancer in this film. She also appeared as a back-up dancer, along with Danile Arnaud and fellow Playmate Kymberly Herrin, in several ZZ Top music videos.
