In the 1963 sci-fi/horror film The Crawling Hand, a group of astronauts are on a mission in space when one of them dies and his hand is severed. The hand is jettisoned into space where it floats aimlessly until it eventually crash-lands on Earth. The hand is found by a young couple who take it to local scientist Paul Lawrence (played by Peter Breck) for examination.

Lawrence's curiosity leads him to conduct experiments on the hand, but little does he know that the hand is not as inert as it seems. The hand possesses a mind of its own and begins to move and crawl, seeking a host to attach itself to.

Desperate to escape its current situation and resume its mission, the hand's ultimate goal is to return to space and reunite with its body in hopes of resurrecting the deceased astronaut.

As the hand's actions become more hostile and destructive, Lawrence enlists the help of military officials to try and stop the hand before it's too late.

The film is a classic B-movie of the era, with over-the-top performances and outlandish premise. The Crawling Hand is a fun and delightfully cheesy film that provides a nice blast from the past for fans of vintage sci-fi and horror flicks.

The Crawling Hand is a 1963 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 29 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.2.
